Meeting held in order to help boost trade relations between UAE and China
A meeting was conducted in Masdar City where discussions were made in order to find different strategies that could help promote industrial cooperation and innovation between UAE and China.
The meeting was attended by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy of the UAE, and Ning Jizhe, Deputy Director of China’s National Development and Reform Commission.
Other subject matters were also addressed some of which included how China could benefit the UAE with its industrial experience in order to help serve the emirates development plans.
Both parties signed an agreement to boost its industrial and investment partnership between their two countries.
As UAE constantly seeks to diversify its economy and achieve sustainable development, Mansouri wants to focus on the importance of industrial cooperation for the countries development. He also mentioned that through local and federal plans, the sector can be developed in several ways some of which include, building a stronger cooperation with other friendly counties that will have the resources to be scientifically, industrially and technologically advanced like China.
The Chinese official describes UAE as an economic model in the region and wanted stress was that his nation is very keen to support participations with the UAE.
