The total number of business activities licensed in the emirate have increased from 2,125 to 2,133 as there have been eight new additions to the list by the Department of Economic Development (DED) in Dubai. In hopes to help facilitate business and provide the essential resources for the development of businesses, feedback was taken from various industry sectors in order to gather information on the needs of the local market and demand-supply which was then used and resulted in the decision to add the eight new activities.

Due to the constant studies and analysis of the market needs and suggestions from investors all across Dubai, DED is able to understand the requirements needed and cope with the fast-changing local market. This continuous evaluation is why new business activities have been added to the list for the second time this year.

The choice of the new activities will fortify DED’s arrangement, as it accentuates on building up the emirate’s service profile and enable a more simplified licence procedures permit methodology identifying with limited liability companies in perspective of the part of such firms in advancing the growth of private sectors. These new additions are also expected to dispose of any hindrances to business which will help support new business ideas and create new jobs in the country which is a beneficial factor for investors and the general public.

This activity involves remotely operated robots and telescopic arms that are specifically created vehicles for conducting tasks that are viewed as dangerous for humans to undertake. They replace humans in these activities, some of which include the detection of explosives or radiation, firefighting and manufacturing practices in order to ensure that the highest of standards are being met in terms of accuracy or workforce.

Tax Consultant

Firms that are involved in specialised activities for foreign companies such as tax advisory use tax consultant activity.
